The website was launched amidst much fanfare in the recently held media conclave on June 27 at the India International Centre in Delhi. Leading journalist Rahul Dev launched the website with a click.
The website was launched in the presence of leading journalists like Kamar Wahid Naqvi, Urmilesh from Rajya Sabha TV, India TV channel head Vinod Kapri, head of Live India Satish K. Singh, Managing Editor of News 24 Ajit Anjum and Manoj Bhawuk. There were also other personalities from the world of media and journalism.

भोजपुरी भाषियों के लिए एक अच्छी खबर है. भोजपुरी सिनेमा और मनोरंजन की ख़बरें देने के लिए जोगीरा डॉट कॉम (www.jogira.com) आ गया है. दिल्ली के इंडिया इंटरनेशनल सेंटर में हुए मीडिया कॉनक्लेव में इसे 27 जून को लॉन्च किया गया. वरिष्ठ पत्रकार राहुल देव ने ‘क्लिक’ करके वेबसाईट को लॉन्च किया.
लॉन्चिंग के समय वरिष्ठ पत्रकार कमर वहीद नकवी, राज्यसभा टीवी से जुड़े उर्मिलेश, इंडिया टीवी के चैनल हेड विनोद कापड़ी, लाइव इंडिया के प्रमुख सतीश के.सिंह, न्यूज़24 के मैनेजिंग एडिटर अजीत अंजुम और मनोज भावुक भी मौजूद थे. इसके अलावा मीडिया और पत्रकारिता जगत से जुड़े दूसरे लोग भी बड़ी संख्या में मौजूद थे.
